We are among the TOP 100
Newly crowned innovation champion: AFS Airfilter Sys-teme GmbH (AFS for short) from Übrigshausen has been awarded the TOP 100 seal 2024. Only particularly innovative medium-sized companies are honored with this award. Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate AFS on this success at the award ceremony on June 28 in Weimar. Yogeshwar has been mentoring the TOP 100 innovation competition for twelve years.
DONATION TO THE HOSPICE SERVICE
It is a matter of the heart for us.
AFS donates to the children and youth hospice service in Schwäbisch Hall. We would like to thank our guests for their enormous willingness to donate.
EMO Hannover
From September 18 to 23, 2023, we will be in Hall 6 at Stand C90 at the world’s leading trade fair for production technology in Hanover.
PHOTOVOLTAICS SYSTEM
Our photovoltaic plant for surplus feed-in with 357 kWp is connected to the grid. Together with the plants already existing since 2012 and 2006, respectively, an output of 425 kWp is now available. A large part of this is fed into the public grid for power supply. AFS thus makes a valuable and sustainable contribution to CO2-neutral production and energy transition.
Inauguration
On July 14, 2023, we officially inaugurated our new building and renovation with about 200 invited guests. At this point we would like to thank all involved construction companies, craftsmen and authorities for the great and pleasant cooperation during the construction phase. We were overwhelmed by the immense donation sum of currently over 9,000 EURO for the Outpatient Children’s and Youth Hospice Service in Schwäbisch Hall. Many thanks to all partners, friends and employees.
WE HAVE MOVED IN
The time has finally come and we are delighted to have new, bright offices and sufficient space for production and storage. The new building has been commissioned and thus the countless truck and forklift journeys that were previously necessary between our external warehouses are now a thing of the past: that’s an effective contribution to CO2 reduction.
PLANT EXTENSION
The wait has come to an end. Many years of planning and waiting for the new inter-municipal industrial park in Übrigshausen to be finally completed are now done and dusted.
In May 2022, we were finally ready to start the construction of a new production and storage workshop complete with office building. The new buildings, with expanded workshop space of approx. 2,700 m² and office space of approx. 450 m², will enable AFS to further advance the development and production of new air purification systems in the field of industrial air purification and to continue providing innovative and energy-saving extraction, ventilation and air purification processes.
To finance our construction project, we receive support from the state of Baden-Württemberg and the European Union as part of the funding programme ‘Spitze auf dem Land! Technology leader in Baden-Württemberg’. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all those who supported us in the application process.

It’s more informative, looks more modern and, of course, is responsive.
We are very pleased to be able to introduce you as of now to our new freshly designed website at the same old URL. After intensive redesign of technical features, content and especially the visual appearance, we present our new website.
Besides offering a revamped design, the main focus of the relaunch was on adapting the content to the needs of our target groups. This gives you an even more detailed overview without any major searching effort, regardless of whether you are our customer, partner or a visitor.
