Aerosols, mists, vapours and smoke are generated during metal cutting and non-cutting machining. They pollute the air, endanger the health of employees and pollute the environment. Without efficient air purification units, neither the legally prescribed limit values for emissions and immissions nor those for occupational safety and environmental protection can be met. AFS air purification systems enable compliance with these limits.
DISTRIBUTED INDIVIDUAL UNITS
The clearly defined solution for every process and every machine tool. Irrespective of whether it is for oil-based or water-based cooling lubricants, the matching AFS air purification unit can be installed on or near the machine with little installation effort. The purified air is returned to the workshop as recirculated air. The separated cooling lubricant can be returned to the machine circuit.
CENTRAL EXTRACTION UNITS
Every AFS air purification unit can also be used in a central extraction system. Powerful yet energy-efficient fans mean that there is usually still enough air reserve to extract exhaust air from several machines. The purified air can be discharged into the atmosphere as extracted air or fed back into the workshop as recirculated air.
The right air purification unit for every process. Our mechanical air purification units are suitable for purifying the exhaust air from machines with water-based cooling lubricants (emulsion). The air purification units of the AFS E-Series are suitable for machines in which oil is used as a cooling lubricant. All units are available in various modular sizes and can be produced entirely according to your requirements. Intake direction, connection dimensions for pipe or hose, colour, electrical interface and much more can be designed individually.
