Newly crowned innovation champion: AFS Airfilter Sys-teme GmbH (AFS for short) from Übrigshausen has been awarded the TOP 100 seal 2024. Only particularly innovative medium-sized companies are honored with this award. Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate AFS on this success at the award ceremony on June 28 in Weimar. Yogeshwar has been mentoring the TOP 100 innovation competition for twelve years.

For its outstanding innovations as a technology leader, AFS was awarded the funding programme ‘Spitze auf dem Land! Technology leader in Baden-Württemberg’ in 2021. The associated subsidies from the European Union and the state of Baden-Württemberg will flow entirely into the construction of our new warehouse and production hall with adjoining office building.

INNOVATION AWARD
With the AFS E-Series, AFS has developed electrostatic units that are unique on the market and compensate for all the disadvantages of commercially available units: The pre-separation from the mechanical AFS emulsion mist separators, which is already extremely good and efficient, is combined with electrostatic post-separation. This significantly increases the separation efficiency, improves operational reliability, and reduces the costly and time-consuming maintenance of the electrostatic stages.
PATENTS AND UTILITY MODELS
The use of jet nozzles in room air cleaners is protected by utility model No. 20 2020 105 343. The AFS RLC room air cleaners feature impressively quiet operation and draught-free, large-area air distribution.
CERTIFICATE OF HYGIENE
The AFS RLC air cleaners are subject to continuous control and are designed and manufactured in accordance with the regulations in force on the date of inspection.
STUDIES
In a free and independent study, the University of Magdeburg examined 3 premium room air cleaners from the companies AFS, Trox and Wolf. The AFS 2000 RLC air purifier excelled in a direct comparison because it offers the greatest reduction of aerosols and quietest operation.
